Back up Anvil and update the server before updating Hammer and Connect. These are signed 4.0.10 installers and runtimes. Read the upgrade and rollback requirements before installing.

Install Connect under the affected Windows account and start a fresh Codex chat. Verify the running MCP reports 4.0.10; an updated skill alone does not prove the runtime version. Normal startup uses existing authorized SSH, local tools or mapped workspaces without requiring managed discovery or separate Forge executor approval. SSH authentication and host-key checks remain enabled.
