# Forge 4.0.6 Forge 4.0.6 is a matched Windows installer release for Anvil, Hammer and Connect. Normal Connect and Hammer startup now uses existing authorized connection instructions. Spark enrollment, managed workspace discovery and separate Forge executor approval are not prerequisites for native SSH, local tools or mapped workspaces. Existing SSH authentication and host-key checks remain required. No keys or trust stores are migrated or rewritten. Anvil access controls, certificate pinning, protected knowledge, current assignments and scope boundaries remain in force. Engineers must inspect the actual target before making changes; declared paths are not fresh observations. Optional managed discovery retains its own protections. Connect retains bounded, whole-record startup pages with explicit acknowledgement and final context revalidation. Historical evidence remains available on demand, and existing discovery records remain unchanged. Hammer retains its separate Working Memory limit. Back up Anvil before upgrading. Update Anvil first, then install the matching Hammer and Connect packages. Start a fresh Codex chat after updating Connect so it loads the updated connector and skill. All three setup EXEs carry valid Graphton Technologies LLC signatures and file version 4.0.6.0. Verify downloads against SHA256SUMS.txt. Controlled acceptance and local installation checks passed; customer deployment acceptance is separate. Spark is not repackaged and remains separately available at 2.9.0.
